Voices members and True employees in Tak travelled to Heavenly Home learning centre in Mae Sot with True Plookpanya and Tak Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, on behalf of True’s customers.
We delivered digital learning equipment and media, everyday essentials and ฿120,000 to build new bathrooms for more than 85 migrant youth and their seven teachers. Together we painted desks, organised bookshelves, laid new classroom floors, shared lunch and played.
Heavenly Home is one of the learning centres in the Mobile Literacy for Out-of-School Children programme started by UNESCO and True Corporation to bring quality education to migrant youth along the Thai–Myanmar border.
